Installing Windows 7 is not a big issue for anyone now, especially when there is compatibility and support for it. But if there arise compatibility or support problem then it is no more simple task. Microsoft have just released that, Windows 7 fails to play nice with machine that have an AMD/ATI  Radeon graphics processing unit (GPU) leveraging the embedded DisplayPort (eDP) technology. Authors of rogue antivirus software hesitate little when it comes down to copying the design and branding of official security solutions in an attempt to pass their fake antivirus code as genuine offerings. It is, of course, just one of the aspects of the social engineering techniques designed to trick end users into paying for inexistent protection. Fake antivirus generate an incessant volume of misleading alerts and false detection reports, forcing the user to buy illegitimate security software. Privacy Center is one of the rogue antivirus that copied a genuine Microsoft security product, namely the company’s privacy portal, in the attempt to create the illusion that it is a valid product.

Enable Telnet in Windows 7

It’s very rare that I use Telnet these days, so it took a long time for me to notice that by default it was not packaged with Windows 7. I did some research and found out that this was also true for Windows Vista. More than likely this was an attempt to make Windows more secure by default, as Telnet is very insecure and whenever you have the choice you should always use SSH.
