Group Policy are the essential factors of the Active Directory Domain Controller, if anyone is using the Active Directory on their environment the first thing he would like to configure is GPO. Which will control the method of giving facility and responsibilities to the users, but in the same organization it does have less GPO then it is quite easy to manage. But what if it does have more GPO’s….??? it will be quite difficult to manage it, as well keep tracking of the GPO. With this script, I am trying to give the easiness on the management of GPO. This script will provide you the report on which GPO do have what kind of the information’s.

Import AD users on Exchange server
As of I remember, last time when we were on the blog of Exchange. We were up to the configuration of Virtual Directories for Exchange server. And we have already done work with import of bulk users on our Active Directory, Importing user on Active Directory will not create an Exchange mailbox on the Exchange server. Hence, we need to effort differently to create mailbox for use users on Active Directory. If it was Exchange Server 2010, we could have done it on GUI easily. But with the Exchange 2013 and Exchange 2016, those facilities are not available. Therefore, we need to trick to import those AD users on Exchange server to create mailboxes.
[solved] Expire AD account immediately
Hey, Hi I am back again with the few tips on Active Directory User Accounts. There are few scenarios that we want to expire the account immediately, or sometime we just want to expire account or Password for testing purpose. In case of the password expire, you cannot do it immediately. Instead you can expire the account and select the option for the ‘User must change password at next logon’, so when you login next time password is expired. if you go to your ‘Active Directory Users and Computers’ to the users property, you will not find any facility to expire the user on desired time or just immediate. If you go with the GUI mode, you need to wait till next day. Here are the properties of the User Account on below snap.
Move Bulk AD user from One OU to another using Powershell.
As of the transfer with in the organization of different departments or branch happens, it is hetic job for the IT Admin to manage all the users from one OU to another. Doing it manually really kills the time and makes insane. So here, i have create a script that could help IT admin to get relief of such hetic job. In this script I made a source as a CSV file where IT Admin can just have a user CN and Target OU and boom every users will get transfer to the desired OU.
